Supplément de Zorro #68

Supplément de Zorro was a French comic book series published by Éditions de la S.E.E.F. during the mid-20th century. These digest-sized publications were designed to bring popular American pulp characters to a European audience, capitalizing on the immense success of Zorro in literature and serialized television. Issue number 68 fits within the broader output of the series, which focused on providing affordable, accessible adventure stories to post-war readers, often blending new illustrations with translated narrative elements.

The visual identity of these issues was characterized by the distinct, bold comic art style typical of French publishers in the 1950s and 60s. The covers were frequently vibrant and action-oriented, intended to catch the eye on crowded newsstands. While specific individual artists for each issue are often credited to anonymous studio teams rather than a single famous illustrator, the series as a whole is remembered for its role in cementing the mythos of Zorro in the French cultural consciousness during a period when the masked hero was a global icon.
