+ Tic Nee-san #29

Tic Nee-san, known in Japan as Sekkotsu Danshi, is a surreal gag manga series created by the artist Nilitsu. Debuting in 2011, the series centers on three high school girls who are members of a school club dedicated to the study of plastic models, though the narrative frequently dissolves into absurd, non-sequitur scenarios that prioritize deadpan humor over traditional plot development.

Issue 29 serves as a chapter installment within this long-running series, which gained additional visibility through a short-form anime adaptation produced by Studio Kachidoki. The aesthetic, characterized by Nilitsu’s clean lines and sharp comedic timing, reflects the niche but dedicated culture of Japanese gag manga, where the charm lies in the jarring contrast between the protagonists' mundane club activities and the chaotic, often bizarre situations they encounter.
