+ Tic Nee-san #30

Tic Nee-san, known in Japan as +Tic Nee-san, is a gag manga series written and illustrated by Chaos Nakamura. The series debuted in 2009 within the pages of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine, quickly gaining a reputation for its surreal, deadpan humor and extremely short-form chapter structure. It centers on three high school girls—Nee-san, Maki, and Okappa—who are members of a model-building club, though their activities frequently devolve into absurd and chaotic situations.

The character designs were crafted by Nakamura to contrast sharply with the often bizarre and chaotic events the girls encounter. By utilizing a minimalist art style, the series creates a comedic friction between the mundane school setting and the eccentric dialogue. While the original manga is a cult classic, the property became more widely recognized following the 2013 anime adaptation, which condensed the gag segments into rapid-fire episodes that solidified the series' unique position in modern absurdist animation.
