Tribulaciones de X #3

Tribulaciones de X was a notable underground comic series published in Spain during the 1980s, a period marked by a surge in counter-cultural expression following the transition to democracy. This specific issue, the third in the series, reflects the gritty, often surreal aesthetic characteristic of the era's independent scene, where creators pushed boundaries in both visual storytelling and social commentary.

The series emerged from a collective creative environment, often associated with the alternative presses of Barcelona. The design and illustration prioritized raw, expressive linework over traditional commercial polish, aiming to capture the anxieties and turbulent spirit of contemporary urban life. While it remains a niche artifact of European independent comics, it is valued by enthusiasts for its historical role in the democratization of Spanish graphic narrative.
