Tribulaciones de X #6

Tribulaciones de X was a notable underground or alternative comic series published in Spain during the late 1980s. Emerging from the vibrant and often rebellious post-Franco cultural scene, the series functioned as a vehicle for experimental storytelling and social commentary. It captured the zeitgeist of a generation navigating newfound creative liberties, often blending gritty urban realism with surrealist or dystopian motifs.

The sixth issue reflects the series' signature commitment to visually striking, avant-garde illustrations that challenged mainstream comic aesthetics of the era. The creators prioritized raw, expressive linework over traditional polish, aiming to provoke intellectual engagement rather than simple entertainment. While the series remained a cult favorite rather than a commercial juggernaut, it holds historical significance as a representative of Spanish independent press during a pivotal decade for the medium.
