Ushiro no Shōmen Kamui-san #13

Ushiro no Shōmen Kamui-san was a serial manga series created by the artist Koji Aihara, known for his distinctively surreal and often dark sense of humor. Published during the late 1980s and early 1990s, the series fits into the landscape of Japanese seinen manga that challenged conventional narrative structures, blending absurdist comedy with unsettling, sometimes grotesque imagery.

Issue #13 represents a specific installment in this long-running collection, which gained a cult following for its unconventional visual style and cynical worldview. Aihara intentionally subverted standard tropes of the era, utilizing a minimalist yet impactful aesthetic that left much to the reader's imagination. While it was not a mainstream blockbuster, it remains a significant touchstone for collectors interested in the experimental fringes of the Japanese underground manga scene.
