Vampirella #6

Vampirella #6 was published in August 1970 by Warren Publishing during the height of the black-and-white horror comics boom. The issue is a hallmark of the era's sophisticated approach to genre fiction, continuing the narrative of the alien vampiress who had become the company's flagship character following her introduction in 1969.

The cover art for this issue was illustrated by Enrich Torres, whose contributions helped define the character's visual identity. The issue featured work by prominent creators of the period, including writer Archie Goodwin and artist Jose Gonzalez, the latter of whom became synonymous with the character's aesthetic. It was received as a quintessential example of Warren's blend of dark fantasy and eroticized gothic storytelling.
