Walt Disney Daisy and Donald #24

Daisy and Donald #24 was published in 1962 as part of the long-running Dell Comics line that focused on Disney’s most iconic duck couple. These comics were produced during the era when Western Publishing maintained a highly successful partnership with Disney, creating a staple of mid-century American children's literature. The series was designed to emphasize the domestic and romantic antics of the pair, serving as a lighter, character-driven companion to the more adventure-focused Uncle Scrooge or Donald Duck titles.

The interior art and storytelling of this period often relied on the collective efforts of the Disney studio stable, with contributors adhering to the established character models developed by Carl Barks and other early masters. This specific issue reflects the standard aesthetic of the early 1960s, characterized by clear line work and vivid four-color printing that defined the visual language of the era's newsstand comics. It remains a representative example of the mass-market ephemeral media that solidified Daisy and Donald as cornerstones of global pop culture.
