Walt Disney Daisy and Donald #27

Walt Disney Daisy and Donald number 27 was published in 1953 by Dell Comics, during a period when Dell held the exclusive license for Disney comic books in the United States. This series focused on the domestic and romantic entanglements of Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, typically presenting lighthearted, episodic stories suitable for the post-war juvenile market. It served as a companion to the broader Disney line, which dominated the comic rack during the mid-20th century.

The interior artwork for titles in this series during the early 1950s was characterized by the distinctive house style of the Disney studio artists. These comics were mass-produced for newsstands and grocery stores, intended as disposable entertainment for children rather than archival collectibles. While the specific creative credits for issue 27 remain part of the broader, anonymous collaborative output of the Dell-Disney partnership, the work remains a representative example of the polished, clean-line aesthetic that defined the Golden Age of Disney comics.
