Worst Gaiden: Zetton-Sensei #17

Worst Gaiden: Zetton-Sensei is a spin-off manga series rooted in the world of Hiroshi Takahashi’s iconic delinquent manga, Worst. The series centers on the character Hana Tsukishima’s mentor, Zetton, documenting his life after the events of the primary series. Published in Monthly Shonen Champion, the manga serves as an expansion of the Crows and Worst universe, maintaining the rough-edged, high-action aesthetic that defined the original titles.

This specific issue, number 17, continues the narrative trajectory established by writer Suzuki Dai and illustrator Kokichi Naniwa. Their collaboration aims to capture the distinct kinetic energy and comedic timing of the original delinquent drama while transitioning Zetton from a student brawler to a figure navigating the complexities of adulthood. The series has been received as a faithful homage to Takahashi's work, finding a dedicated audience among long-time fans of the Crows-Worst shared universe.
