Worst Gaiden: Zetton-Sensei #18

Worst Gaiden: Zetton-Sensei is a spin-off series derived from Hiroshi Takahashi’s iconic delinquent manga franchise, Worst. The series centers on the character Hana Tsukishima’s mentor, Hanazou 'Zetton' Hanazawa, shifting the focus to his life as a teacher after the events of the main series. It captures the rugged, high-stakes school culture characteristic of Takahashi’s work while introducing a comedic tone centered on the challenges of pedagogy within a rough environment.

The art and narrative direction for the series are handled by Ryuta Mizuno, operating under the oversight of Takahashi. The design aesthetic remains true to the original Worst manga, featuring sharp, angular character designs and intense, kinetic fight choreography. Issue #18 continues the serialization format standard in shonen and seinen publications, serving as a continuation of the episodic arcs that build upon the legacy of the Suzuran All-Stars while exploring the transition from delinquent youth to adulthood.
