Yakusho no Shita ni wa Zombie ga Umatteiru #3

Yakusho no Shita ni wa Zombie ga Umatteiru, or There Are Zombies Buried Under the Office, is a light novel series written by Tanehito Matsuoka with illustrations by Yui Hara. Published under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label starting in 2013, the series blends elements of corporate satire with the supernatural, focusing on the comedic and often perilous interactions between office employees and the undead who have inexplicably appeared beneath their workplace.

The third volume continues the established narrative tone that balances lighthearted character banter with the absurdist premise of surviving a zombie-infested office environment. The illustrations by Yui Hara, known for her distinct character designs, provide a bright and approachable aesthetic that contrasts with the macabre subject matter, a stylistic choice common in mid-2010s Japanese light novels intended to emphasize character-driven humor over traditional horror tropes.
