Young Heroes In Love #14

Young Heroes in Love was a comic book series created by Dan Raspler and Dev Madan, published by DC Comics beginning in 1998. The series was designed as a lighthearted, character-driven subversion of the traditional teenage superhero trope, focusing on the interpersonal romantic dynamics of a group of young, inexperienced heroes living together in a shared apartment. It emerged during a period when DC was exploring more niche, experimental titles outside of their core Justice League offerings.

Issue #14 represents the final chapter of the series' initial run, which concluded in 1999. The series was well-regarded by critics for its witty dialogue and humanistic approach to its ensemble cast, serving as a distinct departure from the grittier superhero narratives popular at the time. Despite its critical success and cult following, the title struggled to gain broad commercial traction within the competitive comic book market of the late nineties.
