Young Heroes In Love #7

Young Heroes in Love was a comic book series created by writer Dan Slott and artist Andres Guinaldo, published by DC Comics under the Impact Comics imprint in the late 1990s. The series was designed as a satirical and heartfelt deconstruction of the teen superhero genre, focusing on the interpersonal dramas, shifting romantic entanglements, and soap-opera-style relationships of a group of young, inexperienced heroes living together in a shared house. It was noted for its comedic tone and its meta-commentary on the tropes of contemporary comic book culture.

Issue number 7 arrived during the middle of the series' run, further developing the core ensemble's chaotic social dynamics. Slott’s writing prioritized character-driven humor and genuine emotional stakes, allowing the book to stand out from the darker, more cynical superhero titles prevalent at the time. While the series was often praised by critics for its wit and refreshing perspective, it struggled to find a wide enough audience to sustain a long-term run, eventually becoming a cult classic among fans of lighthearted, ensemble-driven storytelling.
