Batmobile [Red] /300

The Funko Pop! Rides series launched in 2013, marking an expansion of the Pop! vinyl line into larger, vehicle-focused collectibles. This specific release features the iconic 1966 television series Batmobile, rendered in a distinct red colorway as a limited-edition chase or special production variant. It was produced as a numbered item, capped at 300 pieces worldwide, making it one of the earlier and more elusive entries in the growing Pop! ecosystem.

The design of this piece emphasizes the classic silhouette of the George Barris-built Batmobile, characterized by its long, sleek lines and prominent rear fins. By applying a monochromatic red finish, the manufacturer diverged from the traditional black livery to create a collector-focused variant intended to highlight the vehicle’s sculptural design. Upon its release, it became a focal point for completionist collectors of the Batman franchise, reflecting the brand’s strategy of utilizing color variants to signify exclusivity within their rapidly diversifying catalog.
