Where it came from
Released in 2022, this Funko Pop! figure depicts the iconic final scene of the post-credits sequence from the second season of The Mandalorian, which served as the official announcement for The Book of Boba Fett. The piece captures Boba Fett and Fennec Shand claiming Jabba the Hutt's throne on Tatooine, a moment that marked a significant narrative shift for both characters within the Star Wars television canon.
The design was produced by Funko as part of their extensive Star Wars line, aiming to provide collectors with a cinematic diorama-style representation of the series' pivotal turn. The sculpt emphasizes the contrast between Boba Fett's weathered armor and Fennec Shand's sleek, tactical aesthetic, rendered in the brand's signature stylized vinyl format. It was met with positive reception from fans of the series, who sought to commemorate the revitalization of these two bounty hunters on screen.
