Where it came from
The Frog Lady Funko Pop, numbered 487 in the Star Wars series, was released to commemorate the character's appearance in the second season of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Introduced in the episode titled The Passenger, the character—an Amphibian matriarch seeking to reunite with her husband to fertilize her eggs—became an unexpected fan favorite for her emotive, wordless performance and her central role in a pivotal quest for the series protagonist.
The design of the figure leans into Funko's signature aesthetic, capturing the character's distinct oversized eyes, textured, mottled skin, and the iconic cylindrical container she carries throughout her journey. It was produced as part of the broader Star Wars Pop! collection, which seeks to translate live-action and animated characters into stylized, collectible vinyl forms that emphasize recognizable silhouettes and key narrative accessories.
