Dark Trooper with Grogu [GITD]

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Star Wars line, this figure captures a climactic moment from the second season finale of The Mandalorian. The Dark Trooper, a formidable third-generation imperial combat droid, is depicted holding Grogu, mirroring the intense sequence where Moff Gideon’s forces retrieve the child from the protagonists. The glow-in-the-dark finish serves as a nod to the droid's menacing red-eyed visor and the atmospheric lighting of the Imperial cruiser.

The design follows the standard Pop! aesthetic, characterized by a stylized oversized head and minimalist features, rendered here with the industrial, segmented plating distinctive to the Dark Trooper design. Funko released this particular variant as a specialized collectible, focusing on the dramatic tension of the television series. It has been well-received by fans of the franchise for its ability to encapsulate a pivotal narrative beat within the compact, window-boxed format.
