Where it came from
Boo, the iconic human child from Disney and Pixar's 2001 film Monsters, Inc., was released as part of the extensive Funko Pop! Disney line. This figure captures her signature look from the film, complete with her oversized purple monster costume, designed to help her blend into the world of Monstropolis while under the protection of Sulley and Mike Wazowski. The design team at Funko aimed to translate her expressive, wide-eyed animation style into the classic, stylized vinyl aesthetic that characterizes the Pop! franchise.
The figure serves as a nostalgic tribute to a pivotal character in computer-animated history, representing the emotional core of the Monsters, Inc. narrative. Since its inclusion in the Disney series, it has been received as a staple for fans of the Pixar universe. The design emphasizes her innocent demeanor and the iconic textures of the monster suit she wears, which has made it a recognizable entry for those collecting figures from early 2000s animation classics.
