Carl

Carl Grimes, numbered 97 in the Pop! Television line, was released as part of Funko’s expanding collection dedicated to AMC’s The Walking Dead. Debuting during the show’s height of popularity, this figure captures the character’s survivalist aesthetic, complete with his signature sheriff's hat and pistol. The design reflects Funko’s characteristic stylized approach, distilling the grit and tension of the television series into the brand's recognizable, oversized-head silhouette.

The figure was produced to cater to the immense fan base of Robert Kirkman’s post-apocalyptic narrative, which had become a cultural phenomenon by the mid-2010s. Like other figures in the early television series, it was intended to serve as a tangible memento for viewers, marking the evolution of characters who faced constant danger. It was generally well-received by collectors of the franchise for its faithful representation of the character's early-series appearance and remains a standard piece for those documenting the history of the show in toy form.
