Cho-Cho

Cho-Cho Akimichi is a central character in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series, appearing as a member of Team Moegi and the daughter of Choji Akimichi and Karui. This Pop! figure, numbered 1159 within the Animation line, was produced by Funko to commemorate the second wave of releases dedicated to the Boruto franchise. It captures her signature appearance from the series, featuring her distinctive butterfly-shaped face markings and her confident, expressive pose which reflects her personality as a talented ninja with a strong sense of self-assurance.

The design of this figure leans into Funko’s established stylistic conventions, prioritizing the character's vibrant color palette and iconic hairstyle. While Funko designs are handled by an internal team of artists rather than a single lead illustrator, the aesthetic goal for this series was to bridge the gap between Masashi Kishimoto’s original character designs and the simplified, stylized vinyl aesthetic that has become a staple of the Animation line. The release was generally received as a faithful representation by fans of the Boruto series looking to complete their team-based collections.
