Dapper Sally

Dapper Sally, identified as Pop! Pez number 313, was released by Funko as part of their crossover collection merging their signature stylized vinyl figure aesthetic with the classic Pez candy dispenser brand. This iteration draws inspiration from Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, reimagining Sally, the film’s ragdoll heroine, in an elevated, formal ensemble that maintains the character’s iconic stitched appearance while adapting her to the functional form of a dispenser.

The design reflects Funko’s strategy of leveraging nostalgic intellectual properties to reach diverse collector markets. By integrating the whimsical character design of the original film with the retro appeal of Pez, the piece serves as both a functional collectible and a decorative homage to the film's gothic, romantic tone. It was received as a niche addition to the broader Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise line, appealing particularly to fans of Funko’s stylized character interpretations.
