Darkseid on Throne

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Movies line in 2021, this figure commemorates the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League. It depicts the galactic tyrant Darkseid sitting upon his throne, a scene that served as a central visual pillar for the film's marketing and the director's specific vision for the DC Extended Universe. The design emphasizes the imposing, regal nature of the character, utilizing the larger Super-Sized format to capture the scale of the throne and the ominous presence of the Apokoliptian ruler.

The figure was produced during a period of high fan interest in the Snyder Cut movement, which sought to bring the director's original vision to completion. Funko collaborated with Warner Bros. to release a series of collectibles that reflected the gritty, high-contrast aesthetic of the film. The figure's reception was largely positive among collectors, who praised the level of molded detail on the throne and the faithfulness to the character's updated design, which differed significantly from the brief glimpses seen in previous iterations of the franchise.
