Superman Flying [AAA Anime]

The Superman Flying Pop! figure, numbered 1123, was released as part of the Funko Pop! Movies line to commemorate the 2021 release of Zack Snyder's Justice League. It was specifically distributed as a variant under the AAA Anime banner, a common practice for Funko to issue special edition figures through specialty retail channels. The design captures Henry Cavill’s iteration of the character in his iconic black suit, reflecting the aesthetic shift seen in the director’s cut of the film.

The figure’s design focuses on the mid-flight pose, a staple for Superman-themed collectibles, intended to emphasize the character's power and transition within the narrative of the film. Like many figures in the Pop! Movies series, it adheres to the standardized, stylized aesthetic that has defined the brand since its inception. While met with enthusiasm by fans of the DC Extended Universe, it represents a specific intersection of pop culture fandom and the broader market for stylized vinyl figures.
