Fireman McNugget

Fireman McNugget was released by Funko as part of its Ad Icons line, specifically numbered 112 in the series. The figure depicts one of the iconic Chicken McNugget Buddies, which were originally introduced as part of a McDonald's Happy Meal promotion in the late 1980s. These anthropomorphic nuggets, featuring various costumes and professions, became nostalgic symbols of late-twentieth-century fast-food culture, prompting Funko to reimagine them for their collectible vinyl line.

The design of this Pop! figure leans heavily into the retro aesthetic of the original 1988 promotional toys, capturing the simple, playful geometry of the character while translating it into Funko’s signature oversized-head style. By elevating these fast-food mascots to the status of collectible icons, the release aimed to tap into the memories of millennial collectors. Upon its debut, the figure was well-received by fans of both the Ad Icons series and McDonald's memorabilia enthusiasts, who appreciated the commitment to the specific character design.
