Fry Guys (Green & Red) (2-Pack)

The Fry Guys Pop! figures were released by Funko as part of their Ad Icons series, a collection dedicated to honoring the nostalgic mascots of major food and beverage brands. These characters, originally known as Fry Kids, were introduced by McDonald's in the early 1970s. Designed as fuzzy, colorful creatures with legs and feet, they were created to represent the joy of eating french fries and became a staple of the brand's advertising throughout the following decades.

Funko’s design team adapted the Fry Kids into the signature Pop! aesthetic by distilling their amorphous, shaggy appearance into the stylized, large-headed vinyl format. By offering them as a two-pack featuring the classic green and red variants, Funko aimed to tap into the sentimental value held by consumers who grew up with these characters during the height of the McDonald’s marketing campaigns. The release was generally well-received by collectors of corporate ephemera and vintage fast-food culture.
