Where it came from
The Fisher Pop! figure was released as part of the initial wave of Funko Pop! Games collectibles dedicated to the indie horror game Bendy and the Ink Machine. The game, developed by Kindly Beast and originally released in 2017, features a distinct aesthetic inspired by 1930s-era rubber hose animation. Fisher represents one of the Butcher Gang, a trio of supporting antagonists whose stylized, monochrome character designs translate directly into the oversized, vinyl format typical of Funko's design language.
This figure was produced to capitalize on the rapid growth of the Bendy franchise, which garnered a massive following through YouTube playthroughs and fan-made content. The design choices prioritize the character’s eerie, cartoonish features, maintaining the high-contrast aesthetic of the source material. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans of the game who sought to assemble the full collection of characters from the 'Joey Drew Studios' universe.
