Hello Kitty (Kawaii Burger Shop)

The Kawaii Burger Shop Hello Kitty figure is part of the Sanrio Pop! series, released by Funko to celebrate the enduring global appeal of Sanrio's mascot. Designed to capture the character's signature aesthetic within the company's trademark stylized vinyl format, the figure depicts Hello Kitty in a fast-food worker uniform, highlighting the licensing collaboration that bridges contemporary collectible culture with decades of Japanese character design.

The figure reflects the broader design philosophy of the Pop! line, which prioritizes simplified, recognizable features and bold color palettes to maintain aesthetic consistency across diverse franchises. As part of the twenty-ninth entry in the Sanrio series, this piece represents a specific pivot toward vocational variants of the character, which were intended to appeal to both long-time Hello Kitty collectors and enthusiasts of Funko's burgeoning collectible market during the expansion of the brand in the 2010s.
