Where it came from
The Hershey's Pop! figure, designated as number 197 within the Ad Icons series, was produced by Funko to honor the long-standing legacy of the Hershey Company. Introduced as part of the brand's initiative to bridge contemporary pop-culture collectibles with iconic American corporate mascots, the figure represents the classic Hershey's Milk Chocolate bar branding that has been recognizable to consumers for over a century.
The design draws directly from the minimalist and widely recognized aesthetic of the Hershey's chocolate bar wrapper. Funko designers aimed to anthropomorphize the rectangular silhouette while maintaining the distinct silver-on-brown color scheme. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by collectors of the Ad Icons line, who frequently seek out figures that represent nostalgic consumer goods and food industry history.
