Hershey's Kisses

The Hershey's Kiss, introduced by the Hershey Chocolate Company in 1907, was conceived as a bite-sized indulgence that stood out for its distinctive conical shape and signature foil wrapping. The design was born out of a need to differentiate Hershey's products in an increasingly crowded confectionary market, with the iconic paper plume added later to serve as a mark of authenticity and brand recognition. Over the decades, these candies evolved into a global cultural shorthand for affection and comfort, firmly establishing the brand as a cornerstone of American confectionery history.

The Funko Pop! Ad Icons line, which includes the Hershey's Kisses figure numbered 107, was created to celebrate the mascots and cultural icons that have defined commercial history. This specific figure draws on the long-standing branding of the treat, stylizing the familiar foil-wrapped shape with the large, expressive eyes and minimalist aesthetic characteristic of the Pop! vinyl toy line. It was designed to appeal to collectors of advertising memorabilia and those with a nostalgic connection to the Hershey brand, receiving a steady reception from fans who appreciate the marriage of vintage commercial imagery with contemporary collectible design.
