Where it came from
Released as a 2014 Summer Convention exclusive, this Funko Pop! figure depicts Hershel Greene, a central character from the television series The Walking Dead, during the pivotal events of the fourth season. The figure serves as a grim tribute to his final arc, capturing the character in the attire he wore during his capture by the Governor at the prison, a sequence that remains one of the most discussed moments in the show's history.
The figure features a stylized, simplified design typical of the Pop! Television line, emphasizing the character's signature beard and glasses while acknowledging his tragic fate through its headless variation. As part of the wider Walking Dead collectible range, it was marketed specifically toward adult collectors and fans of the series, quickly becoming a sought-after piece due to its limited availability as a convention exclusive.
