Huckleberry Hound (Dark Blue)

Huckleberry Hound, the laid-back, banjo-strumming canine, debuted in 1958 as one of Hanna-Barbera's earliest original television stars. By the time Funko introduced this figure as number 15 in their Animation line, the character had become an icon of mid-century animation. This specific Funko Pop release captures the character's classic design, emphasizing the soft, approachable aesthetic that made him a staple of Saturday morning television for generations.

This dark blue variant is a recognized piece in the early Animation series catalog. While Funko's design team aims to distill the essence of Hanna-Barbera's minimalist animation style into the squat, vinyl Pop format, these figures are generally received by collectors as nostalgic tributes to the character's legacy. The figure reflects the era of early Pop! production, focusing on the character's signature blue fur and relaxed posture, maintaining a direct visual link to his original 1950s onscreen appearance.
