Ice King

The Ice King figure was released as part of the initial wave of Funko's Adventure Time Pop! Television line in 2013, following the immense critical and commercial success of the animated series on Cartoon Network. The line was designed to capture the distinct, angular aesthetic of creator Pendleton Ward’s characters, translating the show’s whimsical yet often melancholic tone into the stylized, large-eyed vinyl format that became a hallmark of the company's expansion into mainstream pop culture collectibles.

The figure features the Ice King’s signature blue skin, white beard, and iconic jeweled crown, staying true to the character's appearance during the show's earlier seasons. As one of the early entries in the numbering system, it represents a pivotal moment when Funko began bridging the gap between niche toy collecting and mass-market retail, appealing to an audience that spanned both children and adult animation enthusiasts who were drawn to the show's complex storytelling.
