Kawaki

Kawaki is a central figure in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series, first appearing in the manga in 2017 and the anime in 2021. As a character designed with a complex, tragic backstory involving experiments by the Kara organization, his aesthetic features his signature sleeveless high-collar jacket and the distinctive Karma mark on his face. This Pop! figure captures that specific look, marking his entry into the expansive Funko Pop! Animation line as part of the broader merchandising effort to capitalize on the character's rising popularity as an antagonist and later ally to Boruto Uzumaki.

The figure, numbered 1036 in the Animation series, follows the standard Funko design language of a stylized vinyl head and simplified proportions. It was produced to meet the demand of fans of the Boruto franchise, which serves as a sequel to the long-running Naruto series. Like much of the Boruto collection, the figure was designed to be easily recognizable to readers and viewers, maintaining the key visual markers of Kawaki's combat-ready stance, which resonated with the community that follows the evolving power dynamics within the Hidden Leaf Village.
