Where it came from
Leatherface joins the expansive Funko Pop! Movies line as figure number 1673, representing the iconic antagonist from Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. This release captures the character’s signature look, featuring his makeshift skin mask and chainsaw, reflecting the gruesome legacy of the original film which defined the slasher genre by emphasizing psychological dread and gritty, low-budget realism.
Designed in Funko's signature stylized aesthetic, the figure aims to balance the character’s inherently terrifying appearance with the brand’s approachable, collectable format. This specific variant was produced for exclusive distribution through Hot Topic, catering to a community of horror enthusiasts who appreciate the intersection of pop-culture memorabilia and cult cinema history.
