Where it came from
Lucio, designated as number 933 in the Pop! Games series, was released by Funko to celebrate the launch and updated character designs of Overwatch 2. This figure depicts the iconic support hero Lucio in his redesigned aesthetic, characterized by his updated hairstyle and tactical gear. The figure aims to capture his dynamic personality and role as a speed-boosting DJ within the game's lore, reflecting the broader transition of the Overwatch franchise from its original 2016 release to the sequel's updated visual language.
The design follows Funko's signature stylized vinyl aesthetic, emphasizing oversized features and a simplified silhouette to match the other collectibles in the line. As part of the Overwatch 2 collection, it was produced to appeal to both long-time fans of the game's competitive scene and collectors of gaming-themed memorabilia. The series was met with a steady reception from the community, serving as a standard entry in the extensive range of Pop! figures dedicated to Blizzard Entertainment's popular hero shooter.
