Where it came from
Kiriko was released as part of the Funko Pop! Games line to celebrate the launch of Overwatch 2, representing one of the first new heroes introduced in the sequel. The figure captures her signature appearance from the game, including her fox-inspired aesthetic and modern street-style attire, reflecting the character's dual role as a high-mobility support healer and a protector rooted in Japanese tradition.
The design process for Overwatch 2 figures focuses on translating Blizzard Entertainment's stylized character models into Funko's distinct aesthetic. This figure features the character holding her ofuda paper charms and sporting her iconic hairstyle, aiming to retain the vibrant, polished look found in the game's promotional art. Upon release, the figure was well-received by fans of the series looking to add the game's newest additions to their existing collections.
