Where it came from
Marjorine is a Funko Pop! vinyl figure representing a character from the long-running animated sitcom South Park. The character originated in the ninth season episode titled 'Marjorine,' in which Butters Stotch is sent to a girls' slumber party in disguise to retrieve a fortune-telling device. The figure depicts Butters wearing his elaborate, homemade dress and wig, capturing the specific aesthetic of his undercover persona.
Designed in the signature Funko Pop! style—characterized by a large, square-shaped head and simplified, de-featured anatomy—the Marjorine figure was released as part of the initial wave of South Park collectibles. Funko’s design team aimed to translate the show’s distinct construction-paper cutout look into three-dimensional vinyl while maintaining the recognizable, wide-eyed expressions that define the brand's aesthetic. Like many early figures in the series, it was targeted at adult fans and collectors of the show, which had become a cultural touchstone for its satirical commentary.
