Miki

Miki was released as part of the Pop! Asia series, a specialized line from Funko that focused on icons, characters, and cultural motifs specific to Asian markets. Debuting within the Omamori Dolls collection, the figure draws inspiration from traditional Japanese omamori—amulets or charms typically found at shrines and temples, believed to provide various forms of luck or protection to the bearer.

The design of the Miki figure reflects the stylized, minimalist aesthetic of the Pop! vinyl line while adhering to the decorative visual language of these symbolic dolls. By translating a sacred cultural artifact into the accessible, whimsical format of a collectible toy, the series sought to bridge the gap between traditional folk craft and contemporary pop culture trends. It remains a notable piece for collectors interested in the intersection of regional traditions and global manufacturing styles.
