Mr. Sprinkles (Strawberry)

Mr. Sprinkles, identified as pop number 57 within the Funko Pop! Ad Icons series, was introduced to commemorate the nostalgic branding of classic dessert-themed mascots. Released as a representation of a fictional or generic strawberry-flavored mascot, the figure fits into the broader Funko strategy of elevating retro advertising characters into collectible pop-culture iconography. Its design emphasizes the minimalist, big-eyed aesthetic characteristic of the early-to-mid 2010s releases, focusing on vibrant colors and simplified geometric shapes to capture a sense of whimsical charm.

The character design follows the template of stylized, anthropomorphic food items commonly found in mid-century American cereal and snack advertising. By focusing on the playful, non-threatening traits of such mascots, the creators sought to tap into adult consumer sentimentality for Saturday morning television and grocery aisle iconography. Upon its release, the figure was met with interest from the growing community of Funko collectors who prioritize the niche Ad Icons sub-line, which often focuses on branding history and cultural kitsch rather than licensed film or television properties.
