Where it came from
The Mudtrooper Funko Pop, numbered 248 in the Star Wars series, was released in 2018 to coincide with the theatrical debut of Solo: A Star Wars Story. This character design represents the specialized Imperial Army soldiers stationed on the war-torn, muddy planet of Mimban, serving as a tactical extension of the broader Imperial military force seen in the anthology film.
The design of the figure captures the distinctive, grimy aesthetic of the Mudtrooper armor, including the iconic flight goggles and respirator mask necessary for the brutal atmospheric conditions of the Mimban campaign. As part of the wider Star Wars Pop collection, the figure follows the standardized stylistic conventions of the brand, emphasizing the character's utilitarian uniform while maintaining the characteristic large-head, vinyl-stylized proportions favored by collectors.
