Nagini (Human) [SDCC]

The Nagini (Human) Pop! figure was released as a 2018 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, tying into the theatrical debut of the film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. This character design represents the human form of Nagini, a Maledictus, before her permanent transformation into the serpent companion of Lord Voldemort. The release was strategically timed to coincide with the film's promotional push, capitalizing on the narrative reveal of Nagini’s origin story.

Designed in the signature Funko aesthetic, the figure depicts the character in her elegant, period-appropriate gown from the 1920s setting of the Fantastic Beasts series. As an SDCC exclusive, the item was marketed toward collectors of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises, emphasizing the rarity of the convention-specific packaging. Its reception among the collecting community was characterized by interest in its unique status as a prequel-era character variant, distinguishing it from the standard character releases found in the broader Fantastic Beasts line.
