Where it came from
Noi was released in 2021 as part of the Funko Pop! Disney collection, coinciding with the theatrical and streaming debut of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Raya and the Last Dragon. The figure represents the toddler character Noi, a skilled con artist from Talon who serves as a key ally to Raya during her quest. Her design captures the character's signature oversized toddler attire and her trio of mischievous Ongi companions, maintaining the distinct stylized aesthetic that defines the Funko Pop! line.
The character was brought to life by the creative team at Disney, who sought to blend elements of Southeast Asian culture with the studio's classic animation sensibilities. Funko designers adapted these animated features into the iconic Pop! vinyl format by emphasizing the character's large expressive eyes and the whimsical nature of the Ongis. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by collectors of Disney merchandise and fans of the film, serving as a tangible tie-in to the movie's themes of trust and unity.
