Where it came from
O.B., or Ouroboros, is a character introduced in the second season of the Marvel Studios series Loki, portrayed by Ke Huy Quan. As the individual responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of the Time Variance Authority, his design draws heavily on the mid-century bureaucratic aesthetic of the series. The Funko Pop! figure captures his signature look, including his distinct eyewear and the utilitarian jumpsuit he wears while working in the bowels of the TVA.
Released as part of the Pop! Marvel line, this figure is numbered 1317 within the series. It was designed to reflect the retro-futuristic tone of the show's production design, which emphasizes analog technology and a mid-1970s industrial palette. Like other figures in this collection, the design focuses on simplifying the character's complex live-action appearance into the stylized, large-headed vinyl aesthetic standard for the brand.
