Pele & Barker Parrot (2-Pack)

The Pele and Barker Parrot figures were released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney collection, specifically honoring the iconic animatronic hosts of the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland. These characters hold a significant place in theme park history as the stars of the park's first audio-animatronic show, which debuted in 1963. The figures were designed to capture the vibrant, tropical aesthetic of the attraction, with Pele representing the goddess of fire and Barker serving as the spirited macaw who greeted guests outside the attraction entrance.

Funko’s stylized design language translates these characters into the signature oversized-head format, emphasizing the colorful plumage and distinct expressive features of the birds. The set was released to appeal to Disney park enthusiasts and collectors of retro attraction memorabilia. It was generally received as a nostalgic tribute to the legacy of Walt Disney Imagineering, serving as a popular shelf-display item for those wishing to commemorate the influence of early Disney theme park technology.
