Raj Koothrappali (With Martini)

Released in 2019 as part of the Funko Pop! Television line, this figure commemorates the character Raj Koothrappali from the long-running sitcom The Big Bang Theory. The figurine depicts Raj in his signature layered-sweater style, accompanied by a martini glass, a visual reference to his recurring plot point involving social anxiety and his need for alcohol to speak to women. Its production followed a broader wave of Funko releases centered on iconic ensemble comedies, capturing the series' immense pop-culture footprint.

The design follows Funko's standard aesthetic, utilizing the oversized head and stylized features that define the brand. Funko’s design team aimed to balance the character's recognizable fashion choices with a physical prop that serves as a shorthand for his personality. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by fans of the show, who saw it as an essential piece for completing the central group of characters in their display collections.
