Where it came from
Savage Opress, the formidable Sith apprentice and brother to Darth Maul, debuted in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This Funko Pop! figure was released as part of the Red Saber Series, a specialized collection dedicated to iconic Sith lords and dark side practitioners from across the Star Wars galaxy, designed to highlight the distinct aesthetics of lightsaber-wielding villains.
The figure features the character’s signature muscular build, yellow and black Dathomirian markings, and his distinct double-bladed red lightsaber. Funko’s design team aimed to capture the intensity of the character’s brief but impactful arc within the Star Wars canon, focusing on the imposing posture that defined his screen presence. It was released to cater to collectors who focus specifically on the darker spectrum of the Star Wars franchise.
