Where it came from
Sal Fisher, the central protagonist of the indie horror game Sally Face, was immortalized in Funko Pop form as part of the Pop! Games series, numbered 876. The game, created by Steve Gabry, debuted in 2016 and gained a dedicated following for its unique art style, eerie atmosphere, and deep, emotional storytelling. This figure was produced to celebrate the game's cult popularity and the character's iconic appearance, featuring his signature prosthetic mask and blue pigtails.
The design of the figure translates the game's distinctive 2D aesthetic into the classic Pop! vinyl form factor. By capturing the character’s unsettling yet sympathetic visage, the figure serves as a tangible connection for fans of the game's surreal narrative. Since its release, it has been received as a staple collectible within the niche community of horror-themed gaming merchandise, reflecting the enduring legacy of Steve Gabry's creative vision.
