Where it came from
The Sally figure from the Pop! Art Series is part of a specialty line released by Funko that reimagines iconic characters through distinct, graphic patterns. This iteration of Sally draws inspiration from her signature patchwork dress and the aesthetic of Tim Burton’s 1993 film, The Nightmare Before Christmas, utilizing a vibrant, screen-printed motif that distinguishes it from the standard matte finish of the mainline Pop! figures.
This collectible was designed to function as both a standard vinyl figure and a piece of displayable art, often packaged in a protective hard stack to preserve the integrity of the unique pattern applied to the mold. While the broader Art Series line has met with mixed reactions from purist collectors who prefer the classic aesthetic, this piece remains a notable example of Funko's experimental approach to character branding and its strategy of releasing limited, visually stylized variants for specific franchises.
