Scooby-Doo (Flocked) (Green)

The flocked Scooby-Doo Funko Pop, numbered 149 in the Animation line, was released as a special variant to celebrate the iconic Great Dane from the long-running Hanna-Barbera franchise. Funko utilized a fuzzy, flocked texture to mimic the appearance of real fur, a design choice intended to appeal to collectors seeking a tactile and premium finish on their figures. This particular green-hued variant was produced as a convention exclusive, drawing on the character's enduring cultural impact since his 1969 debut.

The aesthetic of this figure draws directly from the classic character design established by Iwao Takamoto, which emphasized a goofy, lovable charm that has remained consistent for decades. By applying the flocking technique to the figure, Funko aimed to elevate the standard vinyl Pop! format into something more reminiscent of vintage collectibles. It was well-received by the animation fan community, largely due to how successfully the texture translated the character's familiar, scruffy look into the recognizable stylized proportions of the Pop! brand.
